Dr. Tim Jester
Dr.
Tim Jester is an Assistant Professor of Teacher Education at the University of
Alaska Anchorage. He received his doctoral degree from Teachers College,
Columbia University. Tim was an elementary school teacher for 11 years in rural
and urban settings in Maryland, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Alaska. In addition,
he has taught preservice and inservice teachers in Alaska, New York, and
Mongolia. Tim’s areas of expertise include multicultural/culturally responsive
education, curriculum design, and social studies.
